Hi hi!
Of course, I worked all weekend, as usual, but I still managed to pull some art out of the air ;) I have some fancy-schmancy iPhone cases, two new ACEOs, and news about my latest Facebook GIVEAWAY! Plus some other goodies ;)
So, the first ACEO I have is from my Circus & Side Show series- "Elephant Man"- a strange and quiet fellow. He is an original 2.5" x 3.5" illustration, up for auction on eBay with a starting bid of just $5! To see the listing with all the info and more pictures, just visit the link below the picture:

I know, I have been on a slight elephant kick lately...
The other new original ACEO is a dragon and nymph piece- "The White Bones" is one of my favorites in the series, and features a lovely, dark haired nymph with a skull tattoo and a white dragon perched on her shoulder. This ACEO is also listed for auction on eBay, with a $5 starting bid. To see the listing, and perhaps even make a bid to own this illustration, just click on the link below the picture:

So, I am pretty psyched about this new product from Zazzle- iPhone and iPad cases! Cool! So, I designed a few from some of my favorite paintings...There is even one featuring my "Procession to Breakfast" zombie silhouette painting! LOVE!! I will be designing more of these as time goes by, but if you'd like to see what I've got up already, just check out the link below the picture:

In other "news", I finally finished up the writing phase (part one) of my Circus & Side Show series/project/whathaveyou, and now I get to find time to sit down and edit the crap out of it until it is suitable for others to read...But, it is getting there. I am also working on a new painting, though I am thinking it might take me most of the weekend to complete it, what with work and all. But, there are WIP photos up on my FB page at the link below the picture, if you have any interest in seeing the steps...

Hello!
Well, I've got some art up for auction (of course!), plus some new bookmarks, and info on my latest Facebook Exclusive Art Giveaway contest!
Very first, I have TWO new art auctions up on eBay today- both of these pieces are originals, and each has a sea turtle theme :) Also, both are donation auctions, with a percentage of each sale price going to the Gulf Restoration Network...This organization helps to restore and protect the beauty and wildlife of the Gulf of Mexico!
So, the auctions are as follows- I have a brand new mermaid ACEO- "Turtle Stories"- a tiny sea turtle and a blue-skinned mermaid are telling stories...This is an ORIGINAL illustration, 3.5" x 2.5" in inks and acrylic paints, up for auction with a starting bid of $5. To see more details, and make a bid to help me donate to this worthy (and important) cause, just visit the link below the picture:

**A quick side note- I have opted to raise my starting bid from 99 cents to $5 for original ACEOs, though I will be having many ACEO print auctions soon that will start at 99 cents ;)
The other donation auction is my ORIGINAL painting of "Jon"- the punk rock sea turtle from my Cartoon Aquarium series! "Jon" is painted in acrylics, on a 10" x 8" x 1" gallery wrapped canvas. He is ready to hang on a wall, no frame needed! Up on eBay, with a starting bid of $35, his auction listing is at the link below his picture:

So...What else is new...? I've put up some new dragon bookmarks in my darklingemily etsy shop...These are printed from my dragon paintings, in full color, and each one has a colored ribbon tassel. To see them all, check out the link below the picture:

This giveaway is EXCLUSIVE to my Facebook Fan Page, so you will have to go over there to enter...I am running the entries from today (July 7th) to next Wednesday (July 14th) at midnight (EST). All you have to do is read the note I have posted on my Fan Page HERE and make a comment to be entered to win your choice of art prizes!!
Speaking of art giveaways, my artist friend Natalie VonRaven is also currently holding a free art giveaway of her own! She is a gothic + fantasy painter, and uses brilliant colors in all of her pieces! To see/enter her giveaway (this is also a Facebook Exclusive) just click HERE!!
Also, a friendly reminder about the Blogmania Scavenger Hunt- you can get all the info here and the hunt ends July 30th!!
I am really roasting in this humidity, and it's rather difficult to think straight. My hair is a mess, there is sweat in my eye, and no amount of cold showers and swimming in the pond is going to make it okay for me to not have AC...I try to make myself feel better by telling myself that I am doing a bit of good by not having one, but the true fact is that I am cheap and would rather suffer than pay the extra $ on my electric bill. So, I just wish for a lot of rain instead, and try to think about other things.

Now, for some new art! I've got two new auctions up today- one ACEO and one 8" x 10"- the ACEO is brand new! It is a dragon painting, titled "Brick" as he is brick colored (one of my very favorite colors!). He has a bit of a "look" about him, as if he may be flying off to cause some trouble (pretty typical dragon behavior as far as I'm concerned). "Brick" is an original acrylic painting, 2.5" x 3.5" on canvas. He is up for a $5 starting bid, with free shipping! To see his auction listing, detail pictures, and perhaps make a bid, please follow the link below the picture:

Also listed for auction on eBay is one of my older dragon paintings- "Attitude on the Edge" is an original 8" x 10" acrylic painting, featuring two dragons perched on a castle ledge. These two are definitely not pleased with whatever they are looking at! If only they would turn around to see the beautiful starry sky behind them! This painting is up for auction starting at just $35, with free shipping as well! The link to make a bid is below the picture:
