I've got two new original ACEOs to share with you tonight, a slew of ACEO prints, info on my latest Facebook exclusive auction, and a reminder about my zombietoes shop sale...
My back is giving me a bit of trouble tonight, so I will just get right to this so I can go sit down...The first new ACEO original is a pseudo- Halloween themed piece, though I had not really planned it to be :) It is titled simply "Vampire and Dragon"- again, this is an original 3.5" x 2.5" illustration. And, the other new ACEO is the next piece in my Circus & Side Show series! "Tightrope" is a young-ish girl tightrope walker, all decked out in her costume, and up on the high wire! I am having so much fun with this series, and am still working on writing out little stories and such for each picture...for a book...eventually...was hoping to get it done by, um, *now* ish, but so far, I am only about half way...;)

Aside from being sleepy, I am *really* craving chocolate, and I don't have any. So...I suffer without :/ On the upside, I think the garden/yard is really starting to look decent, and is not as frustrating to deal with now. Yay!
Now, for some art...I have actually completed the latest zodiac dragon- Gemini- however, I have not listed it or posted it anywhere online yet, as I have a bunch of other art that I have not updated on :) So, I did not want to overwhelm anyone with too much art, heh heh! I have two new ACEO illustrations, and an older painting, all up for auction on eBay!
The first new ACEO is titled "Low Tide"- I really love this piece, it reminds me of a fairytale- a mermaid sits far off shore, at low tide, witht he sky darkening behind her...This is an ORIGINAL ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals- 3.5" x 2.5") created in acrylic paint and archival inks on bristol. The other new ACEO is an illustration of Pandora, her box, and her dragon pet- titled "Pandora's Pet"! The colors in this piece are very bright, and Pandora has a bit of a Latin flair to her (at least, I like to think so :)). Created in the same acrylic paint and ink combo as "Low Tide"...She is also up for auction on eBay, starting at (yup, you guessed it!) 99 cents! Free shipping as well. And last, but not least, I have listed my original "Mervamp" painting ofor auction (on eBay)...This original acrylic painting is on the darker side of fantasy- a lovely, big eyed mermaid vampire creature, swimming in a pond, just off the cemetery, under a full moon :) She is a 12" x 9" piece, on gallery wrapped canvas (sides measure 1", and are painted black). I am afraid that my focus is not what it should be lately. I am all over the place! Too many ideas to be able to finish one with patience, without going off on some random tangent...Sometimes I wish I was not my own boss. I could really use someone around once in awhile to yell at me to get back on track. Heh heh!
But I will just have to manage on my own for now. EEE!! "Someone left Emily to her own devices...everyone watch out!"

She is an original 12" x 9" acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas, and I am hoping that she finds just the right home where she will be loved and cherished despite her evil tendancies.

This next batch of art is something very exciting to me, though I am not sure why, as they came from a fairly simple idea...I just really love them! They are my latest addition to my zombietoes etsy shop...Zombie ink blots! I've gone and taken the Rorschach psychology test and twisted it up a bit in my Zombie-obsessed brain; there are multiple ink blots to be seen and had! These are prints, and open edition at that, but they are somewhat subtle as far as zombie artwork goes...At first glance, they just look like, well, ink blots! I've used a bunch of silhouette zombies from my assorted illustrations/paintings, and added in a few new ones...
