Holy crap...
I've been staring at this stupid computer screen nearly all day, I can barely take it anymore! LOL! But I wanted to leave you all with a blog post before the holiday ;) Besides, I have a brand new painting to show off, and a special zombie original painting auction, too! And, as you may have surmised form the title of this post, plus my crabbing, I have also managed to update my website...
So, this latest painting is part of my "Little Things" series (yeah, I broke down and just decided to call it that, harumph.) This piece is "The View From November" and features a beautiful dark haired lady with a monocle-type device...a tiny owl is nestled on her hair comb, and the bare November trees are wailing...I really love this piece, I hope she finds a good home! This is an original 8" x 10" acrylic painting on a canvas panel; wire hanger on the back. So...I have a *special* auction running on eBay right now- this is for my ORIGINAL "Private Party" zombie silhouette painting. I do prefer to keep the zombie originals, so this is a rare chance to get your hands on one! The painting itself is 14" x 11" on a sheet of artist canvas (would need to be framed)- it is painted in acrylics. So, yes, I finally managed to stop procrastinating and update my website. Yesterday's attempt to do so was foiled when I got called into work. Last, but not least, is my latest zombie painting! I did not care for it when I first started it, but with enough layers of paint, I have come to like it very much. :) I call it "A Bad Approach"- it is an original acrylic painting, measuring 10" x 7" on a sheet of canvas. Oh, weekend...
I finished up the really fun painting today! I am in love with her! She's a nude dragon-vixen, with piles of skulls and an eerie yellow-orange glow behind her...I've titled her "Dremon 1", as I feel this is the beginning of a series...Right, just what i need is more series(es?) heh heh! So, not a lot of new art tonight. I'm in the process of drawing out some flipbooks, which is going to take forever and is quite tedious, but sooo worth it! The one I am currently working on is a zombie flipbook, but I have a TON of silly little ideas floating around in my head, and would love to get them all out (eventually, if my focus allows). I also got some work done on one of my graphic novel ideas today, so thank goodness for that! I feel mostly productive, even with sleeping in until 10 am like a bum with no job heh heh! Whatever, it's Saturday, right? Right.
Anyway, enough pointless rambling, I have 40 tiny illustrations to ink in, and then...Probably bedtime. Hopefully bedtime. But...we shall see.
