Oh my gosh...
I am pretty much up to my eyeballs in sketches to be made into art. Too many ideas, not enough hands, table space, or time ahhh! Oh well, I suppose eventually I will get to them all :)
I do have a few brand new pieces to share today- a gorgeous, green skinned alien pin up, a new Dragon Square painting, and some new ACEO listings- both originals and prints. Plus, lots of new fun and awesome items up in my Zazzle shop!
Very proud to introduce to you all my latest pin up painting- "Tiny Travels". She is a lovely green skinned alien creature, dreaming up adventures and otherworldly magic (and yes, I do have a mild obsession with hot air balloons). Lots of color in this painting! I've been in dragon mode lately...they all just flocked to my studio and took over, and there's really not a lot I can do about it...other than attempt to appease their reptilian egos with lovely portraits and lots of fruit smoothies. Yeah, they really like smoothies, I don't know why. I'm hoping they will eventually want to go play at the beach, or get called away on some mysterious dragon mission, so that I can get to cleaning this place up and back to work...

So, I've been working on some sketches that were a whim at first. Now they've grown into a "to be completed" series: a list of scribbled notes, some terrible 5 second sketches, and lots and lots of hemming and hawing on how much time to spend on them, as they are...personal...and I am pretty private with certain things. I guess. Sorry to be a tease. I'm sure I will figure it all out eventually. But I am also working on some other things; trying to keep the ball rolling with my "writing a comic once a week". Lots more dragons have been prancing around the studio lately. And some nude ladies. So...let there be art! Wait...I gotta make it first ha ha!

Well I managed to get a lot done today...surprisingly...
A handful of new ACEO auctions, (plus a TON of other auctions!), a website update, a few sketches, a bunch of art mailed, house cleaned (kind of, good enough), laundry washed, folded, put away...sweet!
Here's a new original ACEO- and I *LOVE* her! I almost did not list her...so if she gets no bids this round I will stash her in my personal collection. Just sayin'. I've titled this lovely brunette nude "Grave Robyn"...because I am a huge dork. I am trying to put everything up at the lowest possible prices, which is kind of a nono, but ta hell with it. I can always make more, I AM making more, there's too much ahhhh!! LOL! sorry for the self justification. As a last resort, I can always huffily throw my hands in the air and say to myself "I am an artist, I can do whatever I want!" Which is just terrible. *eyeroll*
That's where I'm at. Working on a few commission pieces, then onto a new painting!

Awww, man, we just had a CRAZY storm here!
I have seen storms of the like before, but never up here...Tornadoes and hail and green and yellow skies and such...madness! The cat and I just hung out and watched it all. I figured if all hell broke loose, the bathtub was not too far away...Sadly, I do not have a basement where I'm at.
Anyway...I only have one new original piece to share at the moment...But I have a TON of eBay auctions running...Plus a bunch of new postcard prints in my Zazzle shop, and work in progress pictures of the latest painting!

She is titled "Short Circuit Circus"...and I am *madly in love* with her. I found myself shaking my head today, saying that I wish I could live in my head. Then I realized that I DO live in my head. I guess love can make one a little stupid. :) But...she is nearly complete now, just a few details with the little teeny tiny brush, and she is all ready! Of course, it is way too dark to take photos now, so I will have to wait to list her :(
Okay...I have been working a little bigger lately, and I realize that I have *very little* wall space at the moment, so expect to see a lot of originals up for auction! I thought that I had something entertaining to ramble on about, but really I don't. Lame. Well, I think I may turn in early tonight, but first, off to get those details done on "Short Circuit Circus".
