I have been busting arse lately, and so far, so good...I haven't burnt out...yet! LOL! Of course, my garden is suffering *just a little bit* with all the time I have not put into it this week, however...other things must be taken care of. Nature, you are going to have to fend for yourself for a little bit, and try not to grow too many weeds in my flower bed...(sure, sure).
So, LOTS of new stuff up in my Zazzle shop! Also, some new art auctions! And probably at least one thing I am forgetting...
New art- here we go! I've been mostly listing on eBay lately, and there are some new pieces up there right now! For instance, an original fantasy ACEO- "Swimmers"- a mermaid and a sea dragon meeting up under some strange ocean vegetation...This piece is a small illustration, at 2.5" x 3.5", and is u[ for auction starting at just 99 cents! Also newly listed on eBay is my ORIGINAL "Roger" seahorse painting!! "Roger" is part of my Cartoon Aquarium series, and is on the larger side at 14" x 11" x 1" (acrylics on gallery wrapped canvas)... I have listed him at a rather LOW starting bid of $39.00, which is a far cry from his normal price of $110...SOOOO...*now* would be the prime opportunity to snag him for your home! I am currently staring into the eyes of a 6 day work week, on top of my art projects...So, all of you who happen to have the weekend off, please ENJOY it for me!!! I will be working while hopefully writing some new zombie limericks in my head ;) It is way beyond time for volume #4...I am also considering putting ALL of the limericks and illustrations into one book...But that is still a ways off, as I would like to get some more written especially for the combined collection ;)

hmmm...what else...Oh! Well, I should inform you all that I have taken on a dinky part time job, on top of my first dinky part time job as a gardener, so now, magically, I am working full time on top of making art to share! This was a necessary evil, and I feel obliged to warn you that I may not be cranking out the art as fast as I was previously. I just didn't want anyone to worry about where I have gone to :) I think for now, my new art will be on the small side, mostly ACEOs and 5" x 7" illustrations, with a few larger paintings speckled in here and there when I have the time. Of course, there is always art up in both my darklingemily etsy shop and my zombietoes etsy shop to look at and purchase, and I will remain open to commissions as well. Also, this should not affect shipping in any way, and you will receive your orders as promptly as ever :)
With all the craziness, and also having a major side project in the works, I have yet to update my website galleries and news :( I am going to try *really* hard to get that done, as I have not updated since April! And the more time that goes by, the more art I have to add, making the process even more time consuming...Shame on me! Shame! At any rate, I had best be off :)

Well, I have kind of a lot of stuff to share today, so please bare with me here :)...New Zazzle products, an ACEO auction, a brand new jester, and a new raven too!
I know I am not the best about sharing the latest from my Zazzle shop, but I have a few new things up there now, so I thought I'd post those! My "Ladybug Dragons" are now available as greeting cards; they are blank on the inside, but you can add your own greeting in any available font that Zazzle has before you order them! How about some brand new art? Yay! I will begin with what's new in my darklingemily etsy shop! Number one- a brand new jester pin up! She is titled "Cherry's Jubilee" (many thanks to my friend Megan for coming up with the title!)- Cherry is looking pretty shocked and happy about these oversized cherries right next to her...She is available as a limited edition 8" x 10" art print (there are only 25 in the edition) at the link below:

I've also snuck in some time to get a new raven painted :) I just love these birds, and I could seriously paint them forever; if it weren't for my vast interest in other areas, I probably would! This is "Raven 17"- A curious raven looks skyward...and what are these glowing bits of green everywhere? "Raven 17" is an original acrylic painting, 5" x 7" on a sheet of canvas. So...I have a brand new painting to show off (actually, it is a set of two paintings), plus website gallery updates, and probably a bit of rambling :)
The latest paintings are a set of two small pieces, each measures 5" x 7"...They are "Dragon Koi Fish # 1 + 2"- I just love these little guys, and I wish so badly that they were real creatures! Of course, I do love "normal" koi fish as well :) I just though putting a dragon spin on them would be cool!

I have been a bit behind schedule as far as actual creation goes...Real life has been somewhat demanding lately. :) (Who knew? heh heh!) But, I do really want to get some new stationery sets designed (these usually consist of specialized note paper, cards, stickers, bookmarks and plates, and a few tags, among other paper goodness). I'm also slowly getting more jesters sketched out, and have begun writing limericks for a possible Zombie Limerick Book #4...Yay! At any rate, I am beat, tired, and worn out, but still have a ton to get done, so...I'll be off!
