Well, happy Friday everyone!
I am completely exhausted, to the point of clumsiness and stupid mistake making- it's a joy, let me tell you...
So, I have FOUR new original illustrations this week- yes, I managed 4, it's a miracle! They are just quick little sketches on canvas paper, each one created in archival inks, pencils, and acrylic paints, and measuring 5" x 7". Oh my GOSH PUZZLES!!! This is something I have been toying with for awhile now, researching print on demand puzzles for my images...but now Zazzle has them, and you all know how much I LOVE my Zazzle. It is kind of a stupid name to ahve to say that I love. Zazzle. Oy. Mmmm...how do you feel about my recently resurrected love of clowns? Is it working for you? Because I gotta say, it's awfully cathartic for me. I am so mentally frazzled lately, and I think it's because I have been very lax in my paperwork and online maintenance duties...the boss part of me has apparently gone out of town, and I don't know when she'll come back...so until then, I am just making piles and lists and mental notes...Even when I am not with the program, I still try to stay a little organized. Or maybe I am just fooling myself...only time will tell! We should know by next week LOL!

So...I pretty much did eff-all this week. Okay, that is not true, but as far as art goes, I didn't make a whole heck of a lot. Been getting the gardens ready for winter, potting plants for indoors, working, filling orders, and trying not to fall asleep too early...Most nights I don't succeed at that last one.
I had a blast at the zombie pub crawl :) Got wasted and met a lot of zombies! I will have some pictures soon(ish) to share...But, seriously, this is why I don't go out all that often- because I have waaay too much fun, then it takes me two days or so to get back all my energy and bearings. So...I don't think I will be going out for Halloween. I will be working and then working some more.

Yes, just a short post tonight. I spent a solid 5 hours on a commission today, from start to finish, and I am kinda worn out and want to veg out in front of the tv and not think. Earlier today I was thinking about going through some of my supplies and selling some things as destash through my etsy shop, but I will have to go through them before I even know what I can part with. I think I will be getting myself deep into one of my larger projects soon, and I am preparing for that by making a whole bunch of ACEOs to have on hand for listing. Trying to get as downsized, prepared, and organized with things to do before winter really hits, and I am left scrambling, lost, and trapped in my studio....Which is really not the worst place to be. ;) But, now, I am off to relax! Now, on to other things...I am currently working on my latest jester pin up illustration :) FINALLY! I feel like it's been forever, though in reality it has been but a few weeks. Also, I have ordered the precopy of my compilation "The Little Book of Zombie Limericks", and I simply CANNOT wait for it to show up in the mail so I can approve it! Once I have okay-ed it, I will be making it available to the public...So, hopefully very soon now! It is essentially all three volumes of my zombie limericks (you know, the ones available through my etsy shop here...), plus a sh*tload of new limericks and illustrations! Dudes, it's like 80 pages hahaha! I'm so psyched. :D
I spent all afternoon painting, it is so nice to have time for that LOL! Aside from the new jester piece, I am working on my ACEO series of women with dragons...which I really should get back to about now :)

I have finished up my latest jester- she is Ice Cream themed- though I have yet to scan her in and get prints posted for sale. I will try my very best to get her up ASAP! She's very cute- a black haired harlequin, dreaming of ice cream cones :) Now I am pondering my next jester, and also the next addition to my Dragon Zodiac series (thinking about Taurus)...Also, working on getting more zombie limericks written for the compilation book...I wrote 18 of them last week, and thought with the other 27 plus illustrations that would be sufficient. However, I have since chosen to put a whole bunch more into the compilation book, so...Looks like I have my work cut out for me! Even though they are just silly little rhymes, it is actually rather difficult to make them work just right, and also make them funny (which, in my mind, is the cornerstone of any good limerick). At this point, I am afraid that I will run out of ideas. :( So...I might have to restock my Netflix list with LOTS and LOTS of "research material" aka zombie movies LOL!!
